What you can expect

Your adventure begins in Queenstown - Travel along the famous Glenorchy road, with epic views of the mighty Lake Wakatipu & stunning mountains. Visit Historic Glenorchy, Paradise & Dart River Valley and Mt Aspiring National Park AKA “Middle Earth” where some of the scenes of the Lord of the Rings have been filmed. You will enter in Isengard, Amon Hen, Lothlorien Forest, Ithilien and the famous Misty Mountain. Pure Glenorchy is the only company with access on to the private property of Arcadia Station, where Isengard & Beorns house from the Hobbit was set.

Enjoy some 'behind the scenes' commentary from your guide, and learn about local history, flora & fauna also.

No need to be a LOTR fan to enjoy the beauty of the area: you will see a stunning ancient beech forest, braided rivers and Glacier carved valleys. A photographers dream!

Provided is LOTR replica swords & costumes for a fun photo shoot.
